§ 7.09. STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING OF VEHICLES. (Cr. #961)

    [STATE STATUTES ADOPTED.] The provisions of §§ 346.50 - 346.55, Wis. Stats., relating to the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles are hereby adopted as part of this section as if fully set forth herein. In addition, the Dodge County Board of Supervisors has declared that the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles on the following county highways in Dodge County is subject to the following restrictions and limitations:

    (a)

    It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on the east side of CTH T starting at a point 460 north of the centerline of STH 16/60 to a point 710 feet further north.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on the west side of CTH T starting at a point 775 feet north of the centerline of STH 16/60 to a point 123 feet further north.

    (c)

    It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on the east side of CTH I from Main Street to Taylor Street, Town of Portland, Dodge County. (Cr. #994)

    (d)

    It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on CTH S from a point 500 feet east of the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad to a point 1,250 feet west in Sections 14 and 23, T. 11 N., R. 16 E., Town of Hubbard. (Cr. #1016)

    (2)

    TRAFFIC SIGNS. Pursuant to Section 7.03 of the Dodge County Code of Ordinances, the County Highway Department shall place appropriate traffic signs on the above-described highway(s) on or before the effective date of this ordinance.

    (3)

    ENFORCEMENT. This ordinance shall be enforced by any officer employed by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office (the "Sheriff's Office") as set forth in Section 7.21 of the Dodge County Code of Ordinances.

    (4)

    PENALTIES. Violation of this ordinance shall result in forfeiture pursuant to Sections 7.01 and 7.20 of the Dodge County Code of Ordinances. In addition to those penalties, the County may remove any vehicle found to be in violation of this section. The cost of such removal shall be paid by the owner and the County shall not be liable for damage occasioned by such removal.
